Less favorites for my new work

When I browsed trough my older work (and moved some shit to scraps 
) I noticed that my older work got a lot more favorites then my recent work.
) I noticed that my older work got a lot more favorites then my recent work. Now I wonder what the reason for this is. Is it because I am a lot less active on deviantart (which I believe will be the most important reason)? Is it because the community of deviantart is less active? Is it my work that is less appealing to the people around here (this pops in my mind and makes me very insecure)?
Is there anything I can do about it? I try to become a bit more active here, but I am mostly active on facebook and instagram. They take already a lot of time from me. On deviantart I come once in a month I guess.
I miss the good old days. It's probably almost 10 years ago that I was very active here. The last days where when I was around 19, which is also 7 years ago. And then it went down. The internet changed, I changed, deviantart changed. We all grow older I guess, and we can't keep up with all the social media.
But I still want to hear back from some of you guys! So I hope we can get a conversation here

Progress over the years

Today I came back to visit deviantart once again. I realised I am on here for 11 years!!
I don't feel comfortable with what's on here anymore. It's old and not me anymore. On the other hand, I don't want to delete it. It's a reminder to where I come from, the progress I made.
So I will try to upload some things from time to time, but won't be very active here.
